Image Data Resource (IDR)
Archive of HDBR gene expression datasets
HDBR gene expression data is archived to the Image Data Resource (IDR). The data is generated in two ways. Either the experiments are carried out by the HDBR lab team as part of our in-house gene expression service or tissue is provided to HDBR projects, and the images are submitted to us by the project users.
The IDR is collaboration between the Open Microscopy Environment Consortium at Dundee and EMBL-EBI which delivers a repository of image datasets from published scientific studies, giving the wider scientific community access to high quality bio-image data.
The 4th HDBR dataset has recently been added to the IDR. The HDBR collection as a whole comprises data for 188 genes and spans a wide range of stages from CS11 to 22 post conception weeks. The images can be accessed through the gene expression section of the HDBR Atlas website, along with a guide to viewing the images.
If you are interested in our in-house gene expression service, or would like to submit data for inclusion in our next dataset, please get in touch to discuss your requirements.
